Emergency ContactsNote to Parents:
We take every step possible to be sure your child has an enjoyable, educational and SAFE visit to Camp Brule'.
Emergencies are never wanted, but should always be planned for. Be assured that Camp Brule' has a comprehensive safety and emergency plan in place to handle emergencies at the Camp. The nature of the emergency determines what and when certain events happen in response. The local 911 center is advised whenever campers are in the facility and communications through local firefighters/emergency rescue are always available.
We want to be sure that if emergencies occur, both at Camp Brule or at the home of a camper, there is adequate and reliable means of communicating important information to and from 4-H parents.
To that end...here are the sources and means of communicating with Camp Brule' 24 hours a day in ascending order:
IF YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT BAD WEATHER, GO TO:
1. Daily Camp Directors Report: Camp Directors will post DAILY activitiy reports to this website.
Parents can call this number if there is an emergency during daytime hours. If a weather event or other emergency causes a great deal of concern this line will fill up quickly. If such an event occurs, information from the camp will FIRST be posted on the Daily Camp Directors Report. We ask that you seek information there before calling the camp so that the phone line can be used for emergencies! .........570 - 924 - 3478
2. IF you cannot reach anyone at teh camp phone, Call the Ranger at Camp Brule: (570) 924-3001
3.
